When I am not running all over to take care of my family, I am reading. I read a lot. I set a goal of 555 books for 2023. I only need to read 3.5 books a day to hit my goal. That’s a bit much, even for me. So, I was thinking about adding audio books to my routine. That way I can be listening to one when I’m driving, and reading on my phone when I can. I’ve mostly stuck to being a one book at a time girl, but maybe I could do it this way.
This made me think. Are you a reader? How do you prefer to consume your books? What is your go to genre? I used to only read paperbacks, but my reading habit is expensive, and I don’t carry a purse, so taking a book with me everywhere I go isn’t as easy. I switched to Kindle Unlimited years ago, and love it. I still buy paperbacks, but most of the one’s I buy are books I have already read, and love enough to want to add them to my collection. My go to is romance, but I love a good mystery too. Really, I read a lot of different genres.
Some of my favorite I’ve read recently are Madame by Sara Cate (this is part of the Salacious Players’ Club Series), Obsession Falls by Claire Kingsley, Best Frenemies by Max Monroe, and End Game by G.A. Mazurke (who also writes as Serena Akeroyd). I’ve actually read quite a few really good books recently, but these are some of my favorite. What is your favorite, or recent favorite?
