On today’s episode of things my family talks about – the weird shows the kids watched when they were younger.

Here is a list of the shows my kids called weird, and in their own words, why.

Shows from the youngest (can you tell who was the most into this conversation?)

  • Vamprina – good concept weird show
  • Elena of Avalor – started really good, but got super weird with dragons or something and did a Sophia the first crossover
  • Nina Needs to Go – shorts about a girl who ALWAYS needed to go to the bathroom, and at the worst times too
  • Apple & Onion – the plot and characters were good, but it was weird to make them vegetables who ate vegetables
  • Kate & Mim-Mim – Bunny is Kate’s stuffed animal that she talked to and grew like 3x her size and took her on adventures
  • Shimmer and Shine – Sounded very scripted and every episode was very much the same. And it was just so weird overall

Shows from the oldest

  • Caillou – annoying whiney child (they actually used some other words, but I decided they weren’t appropriate for the blog space)
  • Miss Spider’s Sunny Patch – miss spiders sunny patch friends for sure idk what was going on with how they animated things but
